Man rescued from flipped car in Salford

A man has been rushed to Salford Royal Hospital this evening after his car flipped on Seaford Road in Salford.

The accident happened at around 5pm in Lower Broughton outside iQ student accommodation.

There's been no explanation as to how the car flipped, but it is believed the driver has no visible sign of injury.

A spokesperson for Broughton Fire Service said: "The car had flipped over onto its roof with one man inside. They were rescued by fire service personnel and he's conscious and breathing."

A passer-by after the incident told Shock: "I was just walking past and saw a car turned upside down. It looked like it had hit a parked car that got knocked onto the pavement. I hope everyone involved is okay."
