If you know Salford, you know Salford Shopping City. Once described by local councillor John Warmisham as “the biggest eyesore in Salford”, the centre is signposted by an impossible-to-miss 25-storey residential block that screams SALFORD SHOPPING CITY. Despite its signage, the centre hasn’t held the title “City” in over twenty years, long ago demoted to Salford Shopping Centre.

Travel disruption expected as Filming takes place on Salford Quays
Bee Network has warned that some buses that serve The Quays Bus Stop will be disrupted on Thursday 6th November due to filming. Passengers have been told that the 53 ans 79 will not serve the Quays and will instead divert via Trafford Road. The 29 and 50 will run as normal. Transport for Greater Manchester added in a statement that “Services 29 and 50 will turn at the Lowry Centre roundabout,” adding “Drivers are requested to observe stops along the diversion route.” AREA O
