ABOUT US
Shock is the University of Salford’s award-winning student media network, winning 15 national awards in 2024/25.
Shock Radio broadcasts live online 24 hours a day from our studios at University House. This year, we proudly hosted the largest-ever Student Radio Conference, welcoming stations from across the country.
Shock TV had its biggest year to date, with over 200 uploads, more than 50,000 views, and our most ambitious Varsity coverage ever – streamed from five different locations, reaching a record number of viewers.
We also raised £1,685 for Mind in Salford through our annual Charity Campsite, making 2024/25 one of our most impactful years yet.
