Smoke pours from student accommodation block in Salford

Just before 6pm this evening, smoke was seen coming from the Eddie Colman building a student accommodation block, near to Salford University’s, Peel Park Campus.

Several fire engines have been in attendance. Shock News understands that some residents have been allowed back in the building.

We’ve approached GMFRS for comment.
