OH NO IT ISN'T: The Lowry announces Bishop & McKellen are coming to Salford
The Lowry Theatre has announced that despite the Christmas period drawing to a close, their pantomime is just around the corner - some would even say 'IT'S BEHIND YOU!'
One of Manchester's favourite theatres is putting on a star-studded pantomime this Easter with stars like Ian McKellen known for his role as Gandalf in The Lord of The Rings and Scouse comedian, John Bishop.
Ian McKellen will star as Mother Goose and John Bishop as Vic Goose and the duo will arrive at The Lowry, this Easter from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th April 2023.
Mother Goose (McKellen) and her husband Vic (Bishop) run an Animal Sanctuary for waifs and strays and live a wholesome life inside an abandoned Debenhams. But when a goose (Casey) flies in, will fame and fortune get the better of them?! Will Ma’s feathers be seriously ruffled? Will Pa tell everyone to get stuffed?! And is their fair life about to turn fowl?
Mother Goose is on sale to Lowry members on Thursday 29th December and on General Sale on Wednesday 4th January.
