Maxwell Hall lit up as Salford celebrates 100 years as a city!

This weekend, videos of groups across Salford have been played out to music and poetry, as part of Salford's centenary celebrations.

On both Friday and Saturday night, crowds turned up to Peel Park to watch over 1500 Salfordians being projected across the back of the Maxwell Building, with groups such as Peel parkrun and local charity Mind in Salford just some of the groups being featured.

Videos were also projected onto the Salford Shopping Centre, celebrating everything great about the city.
