Manchester's lavish love for Valentines day

Lovers in Manchester may be living in exactly the right place after a survey found that those living in the city spent the second most on their partners for 2022.

The average Manchester resident was spending some £46 over the national average (£51) spent on Valentines Day.

Meanwhile, some of the most popular gifts bought for Valentines Day 2022 included designer handbags, perfume and hampers from brands including 'The White Company' according to Vanity Fair.
