LIVE - Varsity 2023: Salford vs Chester

The University of Salford go into today's day of main Varsity action behind by four points.

Last Wednesday at the University of Chester's Parkgate Road campus, the early action got underway with Salford picking up wins in Men's Cricket & Archery but saw defeat in Women's Football 2nds, Men's Football 2nds, Men's Futsal, Equestrian & Netball.

Chester lead by 6 points to 2 going into a full day of action on home turf for Salford.

Team Salford are looking to retain the Varsity title after winning by just one point last year.

Overall since the first competition in 2016, Salford lead over all 3-2.

2019 was the last time it was hosted in Salford, where Salford won by 13 points to 10.

Will it be the same this year? Can Salford retain the trophy?
