It was a win for Salford in the first sport of the day, the swimming, where Salford won 23-19. Wins in the 8x50 Freestyle Relay, Men’s 50 Freestyle, and the Men's 50 Breastroke won the day for Salford.
It didn’t take long for Chester to get their first win, though, finding success at the Badminton.
Thrilling encounter after thrilling encounter at led us up to the Netball, where Salford worked hard to get ahead after a disappointing first quarter, but could not complete an incredible comeback.
Heartbreak out on the MUGA for Salford’s football teams as the Women’s lost 6-1 and then the Men lost 5-1.
The Hockey team played out a close encounter, but it was the home side that came out on top, it finished 3-2.
