Train services have been delayed and cancelled at Newton-Le-Willows Station this afternoon, after a male was involved in a major incident on the tracks.   Emergency services including: A police helicopter, ambulance, fire services, police officers and a network rail response team attended the scene.   A witness who wants to stay anonymous said: the man was believed to have been “struck by a train but was still alive.”   It was said by a worker, that the man had been crossing

Four people have been arrested following a stabbing that took place at Manchester Piccadilly station on Tuesday afternoon. According to the British Transport Police, a  13-year old boy was stabbed near the station’s Fairfield Street car park just after midday. They added that a 13-year old has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, whilst three other boys, one aged 13 and two aged 12, were arrested on suspicion of affray- they have all been released on bail pendi
