Shock Radio's Semester Two Launch

The University of Salford’s students’ union’s radio station, Shock Radio, reopened its doors on Sunday 31st January for the second semester of the acedemic year.

The launch night was a huge success with a mixture of finding out about debut shows on air, voucher giveaways and the opening of the second studio.

As well as hosting a range of new and returning radio shows presented by students, the station also welcomes 4 more executive roles including the brand new position of head of video content.

Theo Chikomba is the new head of sport and is excited for his two hour Sunday sports show.

Callum Phillips takes on the role of technical operator and Benedict Jones looks forward to his position of Head of Interviews.

Twins, Myles and Connor Ryan, join together to be the station’s first heads of video content are hoping to prove that video hasn’t killed the radio star as Shock hits YouTube.
