Welcome to Shock Radio

Shock Radio is the University of Salford's Students' Union's radio station. We're run exclusively by students for our awesome worldwide audience. From our cosy little studio in the heart of the University's campus, we broadcast the best of Salford talent to way over 20,000 Salford students, and many other people who listen in via our website and on-the-go.

Locally, we're pretty famous for starting careers. We've worked closely with Fuse FM, our sister station at the University of Manchester, for many years, and between us, some of the most-loved names in showbiz today have either graced our microphones, or at least passed through our doors.

We're relying on you guys - our beloved audience - to keep us afloat, and we just can't get enough of the awesome thing that is radio. Our team of great presenters and amazing off-air personalities come together to provide you with great content covering a wide variety of genres from news to rock, and independent music to politics.
