Last night was colour’s ball where the union celebrated clubs and societies and
students who will be graduating received their colours. For those of you who were
unable to attend, or left your awards with me then I have now collected them from
the union. So just drop me an email on sales@shockradio.co.uk Facebook me or text me
so we can sort out collection. The people who I have certificates for are as
follows;
1. Chris Mitchell
2. Paul Addison
3. Conor Cox
4. Tone Iverson
5. Nina Roberts
6. Rebecca Wiper
7. James Marcus
8. Claire Brewer
9. Chris Howell
10. Erica Frost
11. Sean Livesey
12. Tom Blackwell
13. Rob Brown
14. James Crawford
15. Daniel Alston
If you know an exec member or it’s easier for you to pick them up from the studio
let me know!
Couple of things all those who received colours you are eligible for a tie / pin, I
think you can pick these up from general office next week in the Student’s Union
(University House). The other thing is that the certificates have yet to be signed
by a pro vice chancellor of the university, Andrew Snowden will be arranging a time
for this when people can get their certificates signed. So when we get more details
we will pass them on!
Congratulations to all those that received their colours I can’t remember all your
names but well done and good luck with whatever you do in the future!

Well as we havent actually had a social this year I think its about time all the
members got together and had a good old knees up!! Its gonna be on weds 14th may
starting about 8ish!
Hopefully this will be a chance for all the people of the society to get together
and party and wave goodbye to those who are graduating this year!!!
Thinkin of starting off at Norwegan Blue in Printworks then going onto Birdcage! If
anyone has any other ideas let me know!!
So everyone be there or be square! It will be a night you do not want to miss!

Colours Ball is in just one week, places are limited and tickets are going quickly!
So go get your ticket now from the General Office in UH, or the shops in Adelphi and Allerton! Please don't forget, upon purchase, to say if you have any dietary needs (vegetarian, nut allergies etc) so that we know in time for the food preparation.
At the event, you will be greeted with a drinks reception on arrival and will dine in style with a sumptuous three course meal.
There will be a glitzy awards ceremony as we celebrate the extra curricular achievements of Salford students followed by music and entertainment!
Remember its not just for graduates, anybody can go. Not only will you be there to show your support for the people that have helped run your station over the years. There is also award for things like Fresher of the year, student rep of the year, journalist of the year, team and society of the year! so you better be there, coz some of you have been nominated.
SHOCKERS AND FRENDS ARE WELCOME TO MEET US AT THE PAV BEFOREHAND (ABOUT 6ISH) FOR DRINKS, TO GET THE 6.45 BUS TO MAXWELL TOGETHER. (SO WE CAN ALL SIT TOGETHER)
